Oh my, this thing called wine.

When I realized I could also make money from it, there was no turning back. What are we always saying in the industry? You don’t get into wine to become wealthy, rather we are here to live the good life, be rich with experience.

And so, I apply my imagination, understanding and marketing experience to create whatever you need when it comes to wine.

The idea for Purple Mouthed developed back in 2012 when I was living in Chile and working for Viña Cono Sur. I fell for the whole thing.

I was at a fancy-pants wine event and overheard a girl say, “Ay, I’d just love a glass of red, but how embarrassing is it to walk around with wine-stained teeth?!”

At that moment, I was on my second tasting of Pinot Noir…I swirled and simply moved on to the next table, asking to try the Carignan. My mouth became purpled.

¡Viva la boca morada!

There are ways to talk about typicity and terroir without intimidating others. It’s true! Plus, how boring are those that spit the entire time and make a bunch of motions as to how the wine enters their mouth and blah, blah, blahhh?

So Purple Mouthed came to life, to first, appreciate this mouth-staining wonder; and secondly, to give wine a real-world context while creating what you need to make it better.

Wine is best paired with real life.
